I’m Lizzy, the maker behind the moose.

I am a full time registered nurse and part time crafter in Hamilton, Ontario.

This is my love story…. Summer of 2017 I made my first set of hexagon shelves in my dad’s garage… loved them so much they were soon in every room of the house. That Christmas I received my own mitre saw and we’ve been together ever since.
We’ve grown a lot and ventured into new and improved designs and ideas over the years. We’ve added to our team since then, including a cricut maker and a scroll saw. Game changers.
In 2019 we labelled our love, The Tartan Moose. Two of my favourite things mixed together… and here we are.

Wood working is my passion. I was taught by two incredible carpenters, my Dad and my Opa. It’s in my blood. I strive to make them proud with every piece I create.
